Argh, I’m trying to get it finished, then get totally sidetracked by a cunning plan
Welcome to the show! The journey to My Ideal Guitar Rig For 2025 continues roughly on the same theme, which is to say finding the age-old compromise of The Tone You Want with The Practicality You Need. So we start crazy – two 100-watt amps (having bought the Marshall in Episode 2) and a total of six 12-inch speakers. Clearly that’s not going to work in my ‘real’ world, so the amp downsizing begins and I manage to condense two boards down to one… via a massive 1x12 modification tangent!
I promise we’ll finish this next episode. Almost there now…
