An Idiot's Rig Explained, With All The Shenanigans. It's All Rig & At Least Some Gig…
Welcome to the show. Arrrghhh, these ones are always tough. To lay one’s soul bare might seem like a manifesto, but it is merely a snapshot of a moment. And in this moment, this is my rig for a recent project. So put your best Gear Nerd Blinkers on and come inside my head, with Dan running fully complicit co-pilot.
Do you need this stuff? Emphatically no - nobody needs this stuff. Do you want this stuff? If you have a screw loose, of course you do.
Enjoy the show!
Notes and errors #1 The Two-Rock CRS got accidentally switched (by me while I was moving it) to its highest gain mode… which I don’t use. So some things are a bit crunchier than they would otherwise be.
Notes and errors #2 Something weird going on with the H&K Rotosphere. Mayybeeee it’s overdriving a touch too much, but it sounds weak and phasey. Meh. Doesn’t sound like that normally.
Mick’s Actual Manifesto…
Argh. Three hours trying to write something to justify this insanity and fend off some negativity.
I'm in my head and this is all ego. It doesn't matter, let it rain. It is what it is.
