In this video Daniel and Mick take a look at three valve-driven overdriven pedal/preamps and ask why you may - or may not - want to use one. This is not a comparison of different valve overdrive pedals. Maybe we’ll do that another time, so let us know what pedals you might like to see. That might be part 2. For now, however…

Mick is playing a PRS DGT model, Dan is playing a Nik Huber Krautster II.
Amps are a Fender Super Reverb with 4x10 Jensen alnico speakers and a Hamstead Artist 20+RT through a 1x12 Celestion Alnico Blue.
