Because Everyone Needs A Treble Booster [Yes You Do]

Published 25 Mar 2022

Welcome to the show! In this episode Dan and I crank our way through some of the very best treble booster pedals available… into a proper loud-and-driving vintage AC30.
Now we appreciate a couple of things at this point. First up, treble boosters really aren’t for everyone, but we ask you to bear with us. As we discover – or at least as I discover because Dan already knows it – it’s really all about how you use them. And we can all use them.
Which brings us to the second point: what if you don’t have a cranked vintage AC30? Well fear ye not because we move on to demonstrating what happens when you use a cleaner amp. A common-or-garden overdrive pedal could be your best friend here.
Right, ready? Enjoy the video!
