In this episode we take a look at the not-so-humble tremolo effect with the help of five great pedals and two amps. Tremolo is one of the earliest guitar effects that first appeared in amps back in the 1950s. You can hear it on everything from early blues to rock’n’roll, country, rock, pop… pretty much all kinds of music come to think of it.
We start off by explaining the fundamentals of tremolo then get into ways in which it can change your sound via the five pedals. We finish up with a quick listen to the in-built tremolo effects in the Fender Super Reverb and Hamstead Artist 20+RT amps. Enjoy…
