Thoughts On P90 Pickups & Humbucker Comparisons

In this video we take a gentle stroll down the path of P90 pickups. We found ourselves in the lucky position of having a bunch of wonderful P90-equipped guitars at our disposal, so what better excuse to plug ’em in and have a listen next to some similar guitars that use humbuckers.
As always with us, this isn’t a scientific comparison, and yes the guitars have some significant differences. Regular viewers will know that we’re more interested in the variables than the similarities… because that’s real life!

We plug in all kinds of guitars with different levels of gain and have a listen. Simple as that – please enjoy the video…
